Today I Am ... Excited

Excited about what, you may ask yourself. I'm not sure, I'll answer. I just feel exhilarated about life. This new journey I'm on. Destination unknown. There is a wonderful feeling about this journey - I do know this much - it is a journey of learning.

I can feel God around me these days. He is concerned about my welfare - not in some sappy Hallmark way - but still concerned. Just there. Sort of like he was concerned about Nineveh in the Book of Jonah when he said: "But Nineveh has more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left, and many cattle as well. Should I not be concerned about that great city?"" (Jonah 4:11)

When it comes to Christianity, let me assure you that I do not know my right hand from my left. And, let me assure you, I am glad God is concerned.

Namaste.

I'm loving hearing about your journey, Asana Bear.

I've said for years that being spiritual is NOT the same as being religious; that so often the best intentioned-lessons are presented in the worst ways; that spirit and intellect are NOT mutually exclusive.

I'm glad you have found your community and support for this current turn on your mystery walk.

Taking my turn to visit, Asana Bear, and enjoying your descriptive words for your journey. The older I get, the more I realize that the journey is probably at least as rewarding as the destination. I'll be looking for you at MadPriest's as well.
