IT'S NOT MY FAULT

Everyone hates Paris.

Everyone wants her to do her time. Everyone thinks she thinks she is above the law. Everyone thinks she is not taking responsibility for her actions.

Jesus H. Christ. For Americans, not taking responsibilty for our actions is practically enshrined in the Declaration of Independence right after "...life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

The proof is all around us. We search for scapegoats and fallguys - its somebody elses fault, someone else caused this, if I am hurt someone must pay. Even if I did the stupidest, riskiest, most fool-hardy thing in the world - something that any 5 year old would say "whoa, that's stupid" I still want to find who did this to me and exact my purse of gold.

ITS NOT MY FAULT should be the new wristband, and one should be given to every American. Its clearly the motto of the Bush Administration. No matter what happens, no matter how awful, responsibility is never taken by anyone.

Talk about Paris needing to set a good example.

We are a nation of hypocrites. Yes, Paris should do her time. And the rest of us should get off our high horses and examine whether we are candidate for one of those wristbands or not.

If we decide we are a candidate for an "ITS NOT MY FAULT" wristband -
no doubt its not our fault.

Namaste.

Amen to that.

I agree with your stance.
