I am in elite company and that is kinda fun. I am a darn slow runner whether at the marathon distance or anything shorter. My best time in a marathon is about 4:45 from the New York Marathon (I refuse to call it the ING NYC Marathon..what a stupid name), and my fastest half marathon was the Ruskamaraton in Finland of 2:07. But despite being slow, I am still in elite company because only .1 of 1% of all the people on this crazy planet have been crazy enough to run a marathon.

I ran a half marathon in San Diego with my stepdaughter Cassie in January 2005. That was the last race I have completed.

Maybe its about time to do another marathon!
